FAQs PLEASE READ!

1. What types of cakes do you offer?

At Mz Patton Cakes, we specialize in delicious homemade cakes. Our menu includes a variety of flavors, such as Red Velvet Cake and Strawberry Cake. We also offer dairy and Gluten free options as well.  Each cake is made with high-quality ingredients and baked to perfection.

2. How can I place an order?

Placing an order is easy! Simply browse our website and select the cake(s) you would like to purchase. Add them to your cart and proceed to checkout. Follow the prompts to provide your contact and payment information. Once your order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your purchase.

3. Can I customize my cake?

Yes, we offer customization options for our cakes. However we do not write on cakes.  We do offer cake toppers in replacement.  If you have specific requests,  please contact us directly before placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

4. How far in advance should I place my order?

We recommend placing your order at least 48 hours in advance to ensure availability. However, popular flavors may require more notice, so we encourage you to order as early as possible. If you have a specific date in mind, it's best to secure your order in advance.

5. Can I cancel or modify my order?

If you have placed your order within the 24 hour timeframe, we are preparing that order for delivery the next day so cancellations/modifications  are not offered in this instance.  However, if you have placed your order 36 hours or more in advance, We can accommodate a cancellation or modifications. 

6. How do I pick up my cake?

You may pick up your cake at the Fayetteville Shopping Pavillion at 108 Pavilion Parkway where I will meet you at our designated time.

7. Do you offer delivery?

Currently, we do not offer delivery services. All orders must be picked up directly from our designated pick-up location. We are a cottage food operation and according to Georgia Dept. of agriculture requirements, we must transfer our product directly to our customers.. we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

8. What is your refund policy?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges. If you have any concerns or issues with your order, please contact us, and we will do our best to resolve the problem.

9. Can I return a cake?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on cakes or any other perishable goods. If there is an issue with your order, please reach out to us, and we will work with you to find a solution.

10. How should I store my cake?

To maintain the freshness and quality of your cake, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place. If you have leftovers, you can refrigerate the cake in an airtight container. However, please note that refrigeration may alter the texture by drying it out as refrigeration pulls moisture out of the cake's texture rendering it dry.  Freezing cake is another option as long as it is wrapped in plastic wrap and then wrapped in foil, this locks in moisture and once brought to room temperature, the cake is if it was just baked. If you choose to freeze it, take it out and place in the fridge for at least an hour to prevent condensation rendering the cake soggy.
